Gas Forced Air Furnaces
Master metered apartment communities equipped with individual gas forced air furnaces can be converted to individual utility service by installing gas submeters in each dwelling unit.
However, in some cases, submeters cannot be installed because of the community’s gas delivery system. High-resolution gas valve monitors installed on each furnace provide an accurate and economical alternative. Individual heat cost bills are computed by measuring gas flow “runtime”.
