Submetering, It’s Electric!

Dear Property Owner/Manager,The accompanying photo shows a mixed-use urban renovation developed by CASTO, one of the country’s leading real estate developers. The property includes luxury condominiums, street-level retail and restaurants, and commercial office space. The building exterior displays state of the art marquees, with scrolling digital ticker tapes.

Management of electric expenses was an important factor in the initial development plan. Leviton “Blue Series” electric submeters were installed in each unit including one to measure electricity used to power all the exterior displays and ticker tape. The system was wirelessly connected with an Aclara high frequency data collector which transmits daily meter reading data to Guardian’s billing center.

“The utility systems installed in our mixed use development which are maintained and read by Guardian Water and Power have kept our complex energy consumption and billing program organized and running smooth,” said Paul Ross, Property Manager at Broad and High Development, LLC.

Guardian Water & Power is proud to install and monitor electric submetering systems manufactured by Leviton and Aclara. To receive a Guardian Rapid Response electric submetering quotation, click here.

Sean Dicks, National Sales Manager
